COVID-19 Community Update

To protect our clients, patients and staff, the following policies are effective immediately:

When you arrive at our facility pull into a parking space and call the front desk at 610-467-1488.  ALL communication will be done via telephone. We will have our team come out to your vehicle for your appointment or bring your pet into the hospital where the examination will begin. (ALL feline patients will be examined inside for safety) Animals that appear to be in more serious condition will be taken directly to the treatment room where advanced diagnostic equipment is available. ALL medication and food orders will be delivered to your vehicle. Please call the office when you arrive and have payment ready. We ask that ALL payments be made via phone.

FOR PETS ARRIVING IN CRITICAL CONDITION

PLEASE CALL AHEAD.  If your pet appears to be in a more critical condition, an Elk Creek team member will ask you for a verbal consent to immediately begin treatment needed to stabilize your pet. The doctor will call you as soon as possible but understand that stabilizing your pet will be their top priority. As such, the doctor’s communication with you may not be immediate.



We kindly ask the following:

  • Please be kind, patient, and understanding- we know that these protocols are inconvenient, but we are simply trying to do our best to protect our vulnerable staff and clients.
  • Please stay home if you are sick- have a healthy family member transport your pet to reduce spread of the disease
  • Please bring your fully-charged cell phone with you to your visit.  This is how we will be able to communicate with you via phone calls.
  • Please assign one family member to be the primary point-of-contact so that we will be able to provide proper communication to you regarding your pet’s treatments. 

     
    Please understand how difficult it is for us to take these preventative measures, but rest assured we have the best interests of you and your pet in mind as we find a way to navigate this unprecedented event in a way that allows Elk Creek Veterinary Services to be here, as always, for you and your beloved family members.
